1. Hadrian’s Wall accessed from Wigwam Holidays Brampton
For lovers of walks through history, our Brampton site is located near the Hadrian’s Wall Path. The storied route offers stunning panoramic views of hills, coasts, and countryside, as well as plenty of historic landmarks. The 84-mile-long trail follows the site of the ancient Roman wall built by Emperor Hadrian in 122 AD, and features some of the original stones and forts laid thousands of years ago. Hadrian’s Wall is not only a gorgeous landscape, but a journey through the UK’s ancient past.
2. The Pennine Way at our Wigwam Holidays Herding Hill Farm site
If you’re up for more of a challenge, the 268-mile long Pennine Way has you covered. This lengthy trail runs through the Pennine Mountains and is fondly regarded as one of England’s toughest walks. Boasting spectacular sites and high mountains, the Pennine Way is one for the bucket list. Our Herding Hill Farm site is conveniently located nearby, and will offer the perfect sanctuary to recover from a big day of exploring, it is also perfect for a trip to walk number 1 at Hadrian's wall too.
3. The Charnwood Forest Circular Walk at Wigwam Holidays (you guessed it) Charnwood Forest
A walk through the forest can oftentimes feel like a fairytale, but in Charnwood Forest it just might become one! Depicted in novels as a portal to the realm of the fairies, this forest walk is sure to be magical. Covering a 13-mile long loop, the Charnwood Forest Circular Walk will take you past heather-covered hills, gnarled oak trees, ancient rocks, and storied woodlands. Use the Charnwood Forest Wigwam site as your base to venture into the realm of the fantastical.

Our Forest Park site is situated in the picturesque county of Norfolk and surrounded by woodland, heathland, and sea. The site has convenient direct access to the breathtaking North Norfolk coastline which includes the famous Norfolk Coastal Path. Take this stunning 45-mile route through boatloads of phenomenal views and enjoy the fishing villages and beaches along the way. Bring a picnic with and set up a charming afternoon in the sand, then walk back to your cosy Wigwam to get some rest at the end of the day.
