Start your staycation in Bristol
What better way to start your South West glamping tour than spending a day or four in the vibrant city of Bristol?
Before your escape to the country, take in some of Bristol’s best-loved attractions from historical sites like the Bristol Cathedral and Castle Park to cultural spots like the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and funky street art along the city’s narrow side streets. Did you know that the world-famous Banksy is from Bristol?
Fancy an evening of theatre? Bristol is a great place for just that, with the Bristol Old Vic, The Redgrave Theatre and The Bristol Hippodrome putting on plays ranging from cutting-edge drama from young playwrights to West End smash hits.

Glamping on the Somerset Coast

Fancy a way to take in the scenery without working up a sweat? Take a ride on the West Somerset Railway, the longest standard gauge heritage line in the UK. You can also take in the brisk sea air on a stunning walk along the South West Coast Path. It’s the longest of the UK’s National Trails, offering opportunities for anything from short walks to multi-day hikes.
