Frequently Asked Questions

On site we have a total of 26 Wigwam Cabins including:

  •     11 Wee Braves - Sleeps 3-4 people (small Quantock and Vineyard Wigwams)
  •     6 Big Chiefs - Sleeps 4-5 people (large Quantock Wigwams)
  •     3 Big Chiefs - Sleeps 4 people (known as Hill View Wigwam cabins they each have an adjacent wet room - sink, toilet and shower, and a wood fired hot tub

We also have a number of difference accommodation types on site including:

  •     3 Shepherds Hut - Shepherd's Hut 1 and 2 each have their own wet room (shower, toilet and sink) a few steps away from the accommodation. Shepherd's hut 3 is ensuite and has its on small kitchen area. They each have their own wood fired hot tub and each booking includes a set of double bedding for the double bed inside each.
  •     4 Lotus Belle tents
  •     3 Lodges - our most luxurious accommodation, ensuite, a small kitchenette, tv, dining table & chairs. The platform double bed comes with a set of double bedding.

Wigwam Holidays Secret Valley opens late March and closes mid October (the last night we are open for 2024 is Saturday 19th October)
We allow pets in our Quantock, Vineyard & Hill View Wigwams as well as the Lodges. You may have 1 dog per small Quantock Wigwam & Vineyard Wigwam & Lodge, 2 dogs per large Quantock Wigwam & Hill View Wigwam. We charge £10 per dog per night. If your needs differ from this, please discuss with us.

The site is great for children, with lots of activities including:

  •     Sit & ride tractors
  •     Games room with pool tables/ping pong & a skittle alley
  •     Boules court
  •     Sandpit
  •     Animals - donkeys, alpacas and peacocks
  •     Also space to kick a football, play frisbee etc

Yes - All of our accomodation have a BBQ/Fire pit outside, which you can have a fire in. We also sell coal and wood.

At Wigwam Holidays Secret Valley, the electric is included in the cost.
We provide full communal kitchen facilities with everything for cooking, eating and washing up. There is also a dining area.

We recommend you bring the following items with you:

  •     Shepherd's Hut 3 or a Lodge crockery and cutlery is provided.

Each paddock has a car park, so the parking is very close to the accommodation.
You will be able to access your accommodation from 2.30pm.
No latest time - your keys will be in the door of the accommodation.
We ask all guests to vacate their accommodation by 10.30am.
No - we go around each evening with a mobile shop with wood, coal and wine. This is when we see the visitors and can answer any questions.
Onsite we have 10 toilets and 13 showers plus the three Hill View Wigwams', three Shepherd's Huts' and three Lodge's facilities.
We have a wet room where this a plastic bath for babies.
The nearest supermarket is two miles away.
There is a transport station 4 miles away and another 7 miles away.
