How many Wigwam Cabins does your site have?
On site we have a total of 23 Wigwam Cabins including:
- 11 Wee Braves - Sleeps 3-4 people
- 6 Big Chiefs - Sleeps 4-5 people
- 3 Big Chiefs - Sleeps 4 people (known as Hill View Wigwam cabins they each have an adjacent wet room - sink, toilet and shower, and a wood fired hot tub
- 3 Lodges (ensuite and a wood fired hot tub)
We also have a number of difference accommodation types on site including:
- Shepherds Hut 1 and 2 - the two Shepherd's Hut's have their own wet room (just a few steps away from the accommodation in its own hut), they each have their own wood fired hot tub and the cost includes bedding for the double bed inside each.
- Shepherd's Hut 3 - ensuite with its own wood fired hot tub, inside a double bed (bedding and towels included).
- 4 Lotus Belle tents
When is your site open?
Wigwam Holidays Secret Valley opens the week before Easter and closes at mid/late October
Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?
We allow pets in all of our accommodation except the Shepherd's Huts and Lotus Belle tents (if you are interested in a Shepherd's Hut and have adog please discuss with us and we will see what we can do). You may have 1-2 dog per piece of accommodation and we charge £10 per dog per night.
Is the site suitable for children?
The site is great for children, with lots of activities including:
- Sit & ride tractors in a covered barn
- Games room with pool tables, ping pong and a skittle alley
- Sandpit
- Animals - donkeys, alpacas and peacocks
Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations
At Wigwam Holidays Secret Valley we accept all sorts of groups including:
- Hen dos
- Family groups
- Weddings
- Please email us to discuss prior to bookings
Do you allow campfires?
Yes - All accomodation have a BBQ/Fire pit outside. We also sell coal and wood.
What is included in one of your Wigwam Cabins?
Inside all our accommodation except the Lotus Belle tents you will find:
- Mattresses
- Toaster
- Kettle
- Fridge
- Microwave
Is electricity included in the tariff?
Yes, electricity is included as part of the tariff.
There is no electricity in the Lotus Belle tents.
What cooking facilities are provided?
We provide full kitchen facilities with everything for cooking, eating and washing up. There is also a dining area.
The Lodges and Shepherd's Hut 3 have their own kitchenette inside the accommodation.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend you bring the following items with you:
- Bedding
- Pillows
- Bedding, pillows & towels are supplied for one double bed in each Lodge and Shepherd's Hut as standard.
- Towels
- Crockery and cutlery (provided in each Lodge and Shepherd's Hut 3).
- A Torch
- We can provide bedding for the other accommodation as needed for an additional charge.
Can I order an extras? If so, how much for each item?
Yes, you can pre-order Wood £6, BBQ Coal £5, Cider £4.50, Marshmallows £1, as well as Secret Valley Wine - White £12, Rose £14, Red £16 and Sparkling £25.
Is there parking next to the Wigwam Cabins? If not, how close is the parking area?
Each paddock has a car park, so the parking is very close to the accommodation
From what can I check in from?
You will be able to access your Wigwam from 2.30pm
What is the latest time I can check in?
No latest time - your keys will be in the door of the accommodation
What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam?
We ask all guests to vacate their accommodation by 10.30am.
Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?
No - we go around each evening with a mobile shop with wood, coal and wine. This is when we see the visitors and can answer any questions.
How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?
Onsite we have 10 toilets and 13 showers
Do you have a family shower for babies?
We have a wet room where this a plastic bath for babies
How close is the nearest pub or restaurant
The nearest pub or restaurant is less than a mile away
How far to the nearest supermarket?
The nearest supermarket is two miles away
How far is the site from public transport?
There is a transport station 4 miles away and another 7 miles away
Is there WiFi acces onsite?
