How many Wigwam Cabins does your site have?
Onsite at Wigwam Holidays Pot-A-Doodle-Do we have:
- 24 Standard Wigwam Cabins
- 2 Running Water Cabins
- 1 Running Water Deluxe Cabin
- 3 Canvas Yurts
When is your site open?
We are open from the middle of February until the 31st of December.
Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?
Yes, we do allow dogs. We have 8 Dog-friendly cabins that can accommodate a maximum of 2 dogs. We charge £8 per dog per night
Is the site suitable for children?
Yes, the site is great for children. On-site we have a childrens play area, interactive art studio, climbing wall, and pedal karts
Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?
We accept all sorts of groups, please call to discuss.
Do you allow campfires?
Fire pits can be preordered, guests are not permitted to use their own firepits or fuel.
Are Barbecues Permitted?
Portable BBQs are permitted however we do not allow disposable BBQs.
What is included in one of your standard Wigwam Cabins?
In each of our Wigwam Cabins you will find:
- Foam Mattresses
- Fridge
- Kettle
- Picnic Bench outside each Wigwam Cabin
Is electricity included in the tariff?
No, each accommodation has an electric meter where guests can purchase electric cards to top up their supply.
What cooking facilities are provided?
On site we have a communal kitchen that can be used for prepping/cooking food. It has ceramic hobs with ovens, microwaves, kettles, toasters, running water with 2 sinks for washing up. Pots, pans and utensils are also available.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend the following as essential items to bring:

Yes, you can park right beside your Wigwam Cabin.
From what time can I check in?
Please arrive no earlier than 3 pm for check in. Check in is contactless
What is the latest time I can check in?
Check in is contactless therefore a key will be in the door from 3 pm for arrival any time
What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam Cabin?
We ask all guests to vacate their Wigwam Cabin on departure at 10am.
Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?
Our shop is open from 9 am - 4pm.
How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?
We have one large communal block with toilets and showers and another smaller toilet block on site.
Do you have a family shower for babies?
Yes, we have four family showers.
How close is the nearest pub or restaurant?
The nearest pub or restaurant is just three miles away - just a short taxi ride away. We have a cafe on site if you are after a casual bite to eat.
How far to the nearest supermarket?
Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi are all just three miles away in Berwick.
How far is it from public transport?
Local buses run from Scremerston, the nearby village, which is a 10 min walk from the site. Taxi's can be ordered, and the railway station is situated three miles away in Berwick.
Is there WiFi on site?
We offer limited access to WiFi on the site.
