Our shop offers a fine selection of local produce to buy for yourself or to take home as gifts.
The specialty in our shop is our homemade Jams, chutneys and preserves which are made applying traditional methods using our own ‘Borewell Apples’ picked from our own orchard at the farm. We serve these with our scones in the restaurant, hopefully tempting customers to buy a jar or two to take home.
We are stockists for produce from Holy Island having the traditional Lindisfarne Mead, wines and specialty beers on sale. A great gift from Northumberland.
There is a wide selection of gifts and artisan crafts which make ideal presents for family and friends.
We have Holy Island and Alnwick gins in stock for the gin lovers, both versatile gins which can be used in any classic cocktail.
Personalized keyring torches, books, fridge magnets, keepsakes & pet lovers' gifts are just a few of the items we stock. Not forgetting the younger generation, we have a collection of toys, sweets and gifts in the pocket money range. For our customers staying on-site, we have ‘forgotten items’ which range from shampoo, toothpaste & washing up essentials to marshmallows, skewers & matches. For beach days we have a good stock of buckets, spades and fishing nets. Packed lunches can be ordered for a great beach picnic.
Soft and alcoholic drinks are available and we are also stockists for the delightful Lucas of Musselburgh ice cream as well as having a selection of Walls ice creams.
Our reception is situated in the shop area where our staff can offer any advice on items in the shop or on the local area. Maps of the walks can be purchased for a 50p per copy donation which all proceeds go to our chosen charity 'The Great North Air Ambulance'.
