Before you confirm your booking for your stay at Wigwam Holidays Shellstone, please take a few moments to read the information below. This will give you vital information on our cancellation policy and services available to you so you can plan your holiday with us.
Payment & Booking Policy
Payment in full is required at the time of booking. We do not accept provisional bookings.
The number of guests in each Wigwam cabin must be confirmed at the time of booking. You are not permitted to have more than four people per Running Water Wigwam cabin and five people per Accessible Wigwam cabin. Please note that there must be at least one responsible adult in each Cabin.
Visiting day guests are permitted but must sign in upon arrival. Only the number of guests that originally made the booking can stay overnight. Day guests are NOT permitted to stay overnight.
Cancellation/No-show Policy
A full refund is available up until 5 days before arrival.
The above terms and conditions only apply to bookings that are made online at www.wigwamholidays.com. Bookings made directly with the site owner may be subject to individual and separately agreed terms.
Refunds
We regret that in the event of a guest leaving early for any reason, NO REFUNDS will be given. May we remind you that your booking is a legally binding contract and in the event of cancellation or curtailment, no refund will be given. This also applies to adverse weather conditions, over which we have no control. Therefore if you choose to cancel your booking due to weather, no refunds will be offered.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out an appropriate travel insurance policy to give peace of mind that your financial commitment is protected, should you be forced to cancel your holiday for any reason. We recommend that guests have an appropriate level of travel insurance in place for their needs.
Arrival/Departure Procedures
Check-in time is between 4pm and 8pm. Arrival after 8pm is by arrangement only and guests may be required to locate their own Wigwam Cabin.
Check out is 10.00am prompt on the day of departure.
Whilst we do employ cleaners, guests are expected to leave their Wigwam Cabin in a neat and tidy condition, with all refuse deposited in the Refuse Collection Area.
No food must be left in the fridge upon departure.
Group Bookings
Our 6 Wigwam Cabins provide accommodation for up to 25 people based on 2 sharing a double bed. We welcome bookings from schools, social clubs, sports clubs, church groups, family gatherings, residential houses, day centres and special needs groups. Please contact us directly for further information.
Disability Access
Our Accessible Wigwam cabin is suitable for wheelchairs. The Accessible cabin has adjacent parking and access ramp. For more information on our Accessible Wigwam cabin see our facilities page.
Please note: Our Accessible Wigwam cabin does not have hoist facilities.
Parking
There is one parking space provided in the top car park for each Wigwam cabin. Your tariffs cover you for one car per Wigwam. Additional cars incur a nightly charge and must be registered upon arrival and parked in the car park. Please let us know if you wish to bring additional vehicles.
Only the Accessible cabin has parking adjacent to it.
Site Rules
Any guest found to be repeatedly breaking any of our Site Rules will be asked to leave the Site immediately without a refund.
Dogs
We do not allow dogs on the site. Only assistance dogs are allowed.
Smoking
Smoking/vaping is not permitted in any of the Wigwam Cabins.
Breakage/Damage
We reserve the right to charge the Debit/Credit Card used at the time of booking an additional fee, should the Wigwam Cabin not be left in a satisfactory condition or if there is any damage to the Wigwam Cabin or the furnishings therein. It is requested that guests advise a member of staff in the event of breakage or damage.
Waste & Rubbish
Wipes, sanitary waste, nappies, cloths etc must not be flushed down the toilets. These items must be wrapped and put in the bin provided. The refuse collection area is situated at the top of the site. Please do not drop litter.
BBQ/Fire Pit
The BBQ/Fire Pit must not be moved from its position under any circumstances. Please be aware of wind direction to ensure smoke does not become an annoyance to other guests. Only wood and charcoal purchased on site may be used. Guests are NOT permitted to use branches, debris, or other items you may see around the site. All timber and similar flammable materials are the property of the owners. Please ensure you use your BBQ/Fire Pit safely.
Disposable BBQs are not allowed on site under any circumstances.
Lost Property
Items must be claimed within 2 weeks of departure. Where relevant, postage and packaging charges will apply for the return of goods.
Complaints Procedure
We take all comments from guests seriously and in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint you can contact us by telephone 07403820724 or email and we will respond. We will attempt to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Code of Conduct
Noise pollution is taken seriously. We expect all guests to respect others and keep noise to a minimum, adhering to a noise curfew from 10pm until 7am.
We expect all our visitors to respect and look after the site and the Wigwam Cabin you are staying in.
Parents are responsible for their children, especially where the water is concerned; and children must be supervised at all times.
