Before confirming your booking at Wigwam Holidays Glenlivet please take the time to read the information below. It includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and services available at the site, which will assist you with planning your holiday.
Payment Policy
At least 25% payment is required at booking, with the balance payable 2-4 weeks prior to your visit. Reminder emails will be sent. If the balance is not paid in time we hold the right to cancel your holiday, as per the terms and conditions on the wigwamholidays.com website.
Cancellation/No-show Policy
A full refund is available up until 5 days before arrival.
The above terms and conditions only apply to bookings that are made online at www.wigwamholidays.com. Bookings made directly with the site owner may be subject to individual and separately agreed terms.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out an appropriate travel insurance policy to give peace of mind that your financial commitment is protected, should you be forced to cancel your holiday for any reason. We recommend that guests have an appropriate level of travel insurance in place for their needs.
Arrival/Departure Procedures
Check-in time is between 4pm and 6 pm. Arrival after 6 pm is by arrangement only and guests will be required to locate their own Wigwam Cabin and gain entry via a key safe system with the code given via text or phone call.
Check out is 10am prompt on the day of departure.
Whilst we do employ cleaners, guests are expected to leave their Wigwam Cabin in a neat and tidy condition, with all refuse deposited in the Refuse Collection Area at the main entrance.
No food must be left in the fridge upon departure.
Site Rules
Any guest found to be repeatedly breaking any of our Site Rules will be asked to leave the site immediately without a refund.
Breakage/Damage
We reserve the right to charge the Debit/Credit Card used at the time of booking an additional fee should the Wigwam Cabin satisfactory condition or if there is any damage to the Wigwam Cabin of the furnishing therein. It is requested that guests advise Reception in the event of breakage or damage.
Smoking
Smoking / vaping is not permitted in any of the Wigwam Cabins or outdoor communal areas. Smoking / vaping only in the fire pit area and use the sand bucket to extinguish cigarette butts.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are expected to clean up behind their dogs and use the bins provided. No dangerous breeds allowed (list25.com/25-most-dangerous-dog-breeds & Dangerous Dog Act 1991).
Barbeque/Fire Pit
The complimentary BBQ/Fire Pit must not be moved from its position under any circumstances. Please be aware of wind direction to ensure smoke does not become an annoyance to other guests and if it is windy we respectfully ask that fire pits are not lit so as to prevent sparks igniting surround woodland.
Lost Property
Items must be claimed within 2 weeks of departure. Where relevant, postage and packaging charges will apply for the return of goods.
Group Bookings
Our 14 Wigwam Cabins provide accommodation for up to 28 people based on 2 sharing a double bed. We welcome bookings from fishing parties, schools, social clubs, sports clubs, church groups, family gatherings, residential houses, day centres and special needs groups. Please contact us directly for further information.
Disability Access
Two of our Wigwam Cabins are wheelchair accessible.
Complaints Procedure
We take all comments from guests very seriously and in the unlikely event you wish to make a complaint you may contact the Site Owners directly either via Reception or email and we will respond. We will attempt to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Code of Conduct
Noise pollution is taken seriously. We expect all guests to respect others and keep noise to a minimum, adhering to a noise curfew from 10pm until 7am.
We expect all our visitors to respect and look after the site and the Wigwam Cabin you are staying in.
Parents are responsible for their children, especially where the water and fire pits are concerned; and children must be supervised at all times.
