David Bellamy Conservation Awards are made each year to parks which can demonstrate policies showing active concern for the environment. Assisted by local nature groups and holidaymakers themselves, David Bellamy looks at virtually every aspect of holiday park management - from the protection of plant and animal habitats to the efficient use of energy and recycling.

We have been awarded our tenth David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. The report for this award stated that: "[Tehidy is]... a park worthy to be called a model for the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme".

AA Four-Pennant parks are of a very good standard with well-maintained facilities and grounds, and attention to customer care and security.

Practical Caravan - Top 100 Sites 2011. This award is based on the number of votes a park receives from customers. Because we also take part in the David Bellamy Awards, which also ask for customer feedback, we only ask people to vote for one or the other. We were therefore very pleased to be voted in 6th in the UK. A huge thank you to all our guests and their fantastic support yet again.

The Visit Cornwall Tourism Awards are seen as highly prestigious and are the 'Oscars' of the tourism sector. Mystery shoppers/ guests visit selected sites during the year to have a real life holiday and look at every aspect of their experience. The report is then used by the Awards Panel in making their decisions. Tehidy Holiday Park is very proud to have been given the bronze award'. This confirms that we one of the top 3 Caravan Holiday Parks and Holiday Villages in Cornwall. Mystery visitors visit sites around the UK and look at all aspects of their holiday experience in making their report and recommendations.
