The Isle of Man is like a miniature version of Britain with a diverse mix of stunning scenery within its 33 miles length. Set out from a restful night in our camping pods to explore the northern and southern plains, rolling hills, moors, picturesque glens - or discover long sandy beaches, inspiring rocky cliffs and hidden coves.

This is a glamping destination with a difference. The Island has a strong identity, culture and heritage - being part of the British Isles but not part of the United Kingdom - it even has its own parliament. You can delve into the region's fascinating past at the many museums dotted around and follow a special history trail.

A world famous destination for motorsport fans, the Island is also ideal for other pursuits such as mountain biking, cycling, rock climbing and abseiling. The varied terrain is popular with walkers - and the 100 miles of coastline draws water sports enthusiasts as well.

Attractions include many festivals, the world's biggest working water wheel and one of Europe's best preserved Medieval castles. Food specialities include Manx kippers, Queen Scallops, smoked salmon, local cheeses, ice cream and mouth-watering Loaghtan lamb - an unusual type of sheep thought to have been imported by Vikings.

Enjoy a drive through quiet country lanes to the many charming towns and villages including the Island's capital Douglas - and Castletown, with its quaint cobbled streets. The Island has a temperate climate and is a fantastic Wigwam Holidays destination at any time of year.
