When is your site open?

All year round.

Do you allow dogs/pets? If so, is there a pet charge?

Dogs only are welcome. There is a charge of £10 per dog per night. Maximum 2 dogs per Wigwam. Please see Terms and Conditions regarding behaviour of dogs.

Is the site suitable for children?

Yes, the site is very suitable for children with large open spaces for them to run and play, farm walks and a variety of games to play available in The Shed.

Do you accept groups, parties or celebrations?

We accept all types of groups, see Terms and Conditions. We recommend you call us if you have any special arrangements or questions.

Do you allow campfires?

All of our Wigwam Cabins come with a fire pit/bbq. We do not allow any other bbq's or fires on site.

What is included in one of your Wigwam Cabins?

Is electricity included in the tariff?

Yes

What cooking facilities are provided?

Inside all of our Wigwam Cabins is a small kitchen area with a two ring electric hob and a microwave. You also have a small fridge, kettle and toaster. Outside you have a fire pit with bbq facility.

What do I need to bring?

Please see under Facilities.

Can I order any extras, and if so how much for each item?

Yes of course you can order extras, these are:

  • Bedding @ £25
  • Pans @ £6

Is there parking next to the Wigwam Cabin? Can we bring two cars?

Yes there is parking for one car by the Wigwam Cabin. If you need to park a second car this can be done in the farm yard. Let us know before you get here and we will find a space for you!

From what time can I check in?

Check in is from 3pm.

What is the latest time I can check in?

The latest time for check in is 5pm, unless you have made a previous arrangement with us.

What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam Cabin?

We ask everyone to vacate their Wigwam Cabin on the date of departure by 10am.

Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?

THE SHED is opened at 8am in the morning. In The Shed we have a large selection of DVDs which can be borrowed and a dining area that seats at least 12 people with a couple of sofas. There is also free Wi-Fi in The Shed and a table and chairs to sit if you need to do any office work! 

How many toilets and showers do you have on site?

Each Wigwam Cabin has an en-suite shower room with toilet.

Do you have a family shower for babies?

Unfortunately we do not provide this kind of facility.

How close is the nearest pub or restaurant?

The nearest pub is The Fox in Oddington or The Fox in Broadwell. Both are approximately 2 miles away.

How far is it to the nearest supermarket?

The nearest supermarkets are about 3 miles away. Tesco in Stow-on-the-Wold and Co-op or Aldi in Moreton-in-Marsh.

How far is it from public transport?

Kingham train station is about 5 miles away. If you are arriving at Kingham by train to stay with us, by prior arrangement, we could pick you up. Buses can be caught in both Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh.

Is there WiFi access on site?

Yes, in The Shed.

Miscellaneous bits and pieces??..

We are a fairly rural site but that is the beauty of the place. Fun fishing by the river, scenic rural walks and large open spaces to run, play, fly kites and picnic are all here for your enjoyment. We are also on the 442 bike ride if you are a keen cyclist and there are many places to visit and experience, see under The Area.
