Humble Bee Farm is a relaxed, rural location, close to East Coast resorts of Scarborough & Filey.
Humble Bee Farm has 2 hard standing electric pitches for tourer's, motor home's or camper van's. With the maximum size being 7x4 meters. We also have 10 non electric pitches for tents or campervans with the maximum size being 7.5 x 6.5 m. There are also 4 deluxe running water Wigwam Cabins on site, sleeping up to a family of 2 adults and 2 children, 4 yurts, sleeping up to a family of 2 adults and 2 children then 16 big chief Wigwam Cabins sleeping up to a family of 5.

Our Wigwam Cabins, toilet and shower facilities and shop/reception are strictly NO SMOKING. Thank you.
Bookings: Arrivals 2pm to 5pm & if you are going to arrive after 5pm, please let us know. Departure on last day & strictly by 10am. Sub-letting of Wigwam Cabins/yurts/pitches is forbidden.
Travel Insurance: We recommend that guests have an appropriate level of travel insurance in place for their needs.
ONLINE BOOKINGS MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF BOOKING.
Our tariff covers you for the number of guests/dogs discussed at the time of booking. Big Chief Wigwam Cabins accommodate a family of up to two adults and three children. Our Running Water Wigwam Cabins & yurts accommodate a family of up to two adults and two children.
Please note:
The number of guests in each Wigwam/Yurt must be confirmed at time of booking. You are not permitted to have more than two adults, two children per Running Water Wigwam or Yurt and two adults, three children per Big Chief Wigwam.
Day guests are permitted at Humble Bee Farm but MUST sign in at reception and leave their car in the car park. Day guests are NOT permitted to stay overnight.
Cancellations: We do not give refunds on any bookings made at the Wigwam Holidays Humble Bee Farm under any circumstances. However, should more than one month's notice be given, and only if we are able to fill the number of nights you originally booked, we will try to offer you an alternative date. Alternative dates, if available, will be offered for up to six months from the cancelled date (ie, a cancelled booking in June 2017 would be honoured up until December 2017, subject to availability, restrictions, terms and conditions.).
You can transfer the fee to an alternative type of accommodation: Humble Bee Cottages, Wigwam Cabins, campsite or to St Kitts, our holiday apartment in Filey. If a booking is cancelled, and you have an outstanding balance, then you will be liable to pay the remaining monies. We recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover such eventualities. In the event of a cancellation/transfer being made by the customer, the customer is liable to a £10 administration fee.
In the event of a cancellation by us, our liability shall be limited to the return in full the monies paid.
REFUNDS: We regret that in the event of a guest leaving early for any reason, NO REFUNDS will be given. May we remind you that your booking is a legally binding contract and in the event of cancellation or curtailment, no refund is given. This also applies to adverse weather conditions, over which we have no control. Therefore if you choose to cancel your booking due to weather, no refunds will be offered.
Damages or breakages: Please note any damage to site facilities or to a Wigwam, including when a Wigwam is left in an unsatisfactory state, will incur additional charges. Any items left behind in a Wigwam must be claimed within two weeks of departure. If relevant, postage and packing charges for the return of goods will apply.
Guests are NOT permitted to remove any of the Wigwam Cabins provided furniture.
Please ensure you leave your Wigwam in a clean and tidy state.
Age restrictions: We do not accept bookings from unaccompanied adults aged 21 or under. Please see our additional Terms and Conditions for any group bookings we may accept. We are NOT a site if you want to party Humble Bee Farm is a peaceful, rural location.
Pets: Well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior notice, but must be kept on leads at all times. A tariff applies for pooch guests. Please be responsible for cleaning up after your pets. Acceptable breeds only & please ask for details. Please see charges for dogs on our Tariffs page. Dogs are not to be left unattended at any time. Dogs are the responsibility of their owners and as such owners must clear up after their dog. There is a dog waste bin next to the red Biffa bin. Strictly limited to two dogs per Wigwam Cabins, and with permission of the site management. Please note no dogs are allowed in the Yurts.
Campfires: Only Humble Bee Farm firebowls allowed on site, which can be purchased from reception. You can hire a firebowl for £10 per night & only timber supplied by us can be used. You are NOT permitted to bring your own firebowl or timber & any guest firebowls will be confiscated immediately. You are NOT permitted to use branches, debris, or other items you may see around the farmstead. All timber and similar flammable materials are the property of the owners. Please ensure you use your Humble Bee Farm firebowl safely.
BBQ: there is a charcoal with your Wigwam/yurt and you can purchase charcoal from our reception. If any disposable bbqs are used, they must be kept off the grass and disposed of as directed by Humble Bee Farm staff.
Chinese Lanterns are STRICTLY prohibited.
Noise: We are a Low Noise Policy Site. Please consider other guests and keep noise to a minimum, especially after our 9.30pm watershed. Music is not permitted on site.
Driving at Humble Bee Farm: The speed limit is 5mph around the park. PLEASE ENSURE YOU STICK TO THIS SPEED LIMIT. This is for Health and Safety reasons, and for the benefit of children and animals that may be sharing Humble Bee Farm with you.
No transit vans allowed on site without prior notice.
Parking: there is one parking space provided with each Wigwam. Your tariffs cover you for one car per Wigwam. Additional cars incur a nightly charge and must be registered at reception and parked in the car park. Please let us know if you wish to bring additional vehicles.
Waste & Rubbish: Wipes, sanitary waste, nappies, cloths etc must not be flushed down the toilets. Bins are provided & please make sure you use them. These items must be wrapped and put in the bin provided. Please empty any liquid waste into designated drain. Refuse area situated near the reception. Please do not drop litter. The red BIFFA bin can be used for general waste.
Recycling: Please make use of the recycling facilities provided. We have recycling bins for glass, cardboard, plastics and paper near to reception.
Wigwam repairs: please let us know if any repairs are required to your Wigwam during your stay. The owners reserve the right to enter your Wigwam for service or repair purposes.
Children must be accompanied when using the toilet block facilities. Please be aware of where your children are and what they are doing.
Farm safety: Please ensure your children do not use the farm buildings as play areas, and do not play on any farm machinery. The farm pond: Please ensure your children are accompanied when passing the pond, and if feeding the ducks. Please do not allow your children to play around this area.
Emergency telephone numbers: A list of emergency numbers is available in the shower/toilet blocks and for emergencies a telephone is available in reception during certain times.
The owners of the park are absolved of all liability for accidents, loss or damage to guests & personal property.
The owners of the park reserve the rights to ask guests not observing the conditions to leave the park without refunds and with immediate effect.
If children feed hens/ducks or come into contact with other farm animals, please ensure they wash their hands.
We have a credit/debit card facility, available to use on transactions on £5 or over. If a transaction is less than £5, then there is a transaction fee of £1.00 per transaction.
Children's Play Park
Our play park is provided for children to enjoy, open from 9am, closing at 9pm. If any inconsiderate noise is made, the play area will be closed immediately. Humble Bee Farm does not allow the following in the play area: ball games, bikes, stone throwing, bad language, water bombs or water pistols.
It is expected that all visitors have read and understood these terms and conditions.
