Our site is made up of three areas
Barnside
Is where our en-suite cabins/pods are located.
This area has x9 ensuite cabins/pods:
- x2 Wigwam Running Water Pod with wood fired hot tub option*.
- x1 Wigwam Lodge Pod (accessible) with wood fired hot tub option*. PET FRIENDLY.
- x1 Wigwam Lodge Pod (accessible).PET FRIENDLY.
- x2 Sheiling Cabin with wood fired hot tub option*. PET FRIENDLY.
- x1 Large Sheiling Cabin with wood fired hot tub option*. PET FRIENDLY.
*Hot tubs incur an additional charge.
We light and maintain your fire until your arrival so your hot tub will be hot for the first night of your stay.
Wood and fire-starter pack will be delivered daily to your cabin/pod so you can light your hot tub stove as required for the rest of your stay.
It is guest’s responsibility to maintain the fire after arrival to ensure the hot tub continues to heat and to light and maintain the hot tub stove on subsequent days.
If additional wood is required this can be purchased while onsite.
Millside
Is our traditional Wigwam village which includes:
- x9 Wigwam Orginal Family Pod.
- x3 Wigwam Original Couple Pod.
- Communal facilities are located at "The Bothy" including kitchen, toilets, and showers.
Wilderness Campsite & Motorhome Pitches
Our campsite is a grass pitch site with electric and non-electric pitches available.
- x12 pitches with electric and non-electric pitches available for tents, camper-vans and motor-homes.
- Communal facilities are located at "The Nissen Shed" and Campsite Trailer Facilities.
- Facilities include campers kitchen, toilets, showers, baby change and accessible facilities.

Sheiling Cabins have separate bedroom and living/kitchen area making them a great choice for families or two couples sharing.

Sleep up to 2 people in double or twin beds.

“The Bothy”
Communal facilities are in “The Bothy” which is located close to the cabins. These include:

- New for 2024 - Pots & pans, crockery & cutlery and a selection of kitchen utensils.

Wilderness Campsite & Motorhome Pitches (dogs are welcome on the campsite)

Our camping pitches grass pitches with electric and non-electric pitches available.
Our campsite is split into three areas. Electric hook-up is available but must be booked in advance as electric pitches are limited.
The Stack Yarde
- This area is suitable for motorhomes and is a flat, open area with grass pitches with electric hook-up
Electric grass tent and campervan pitches
- Grass pitches suitable for tents and small campervans with electric hook-up
Non- Electric grass tent and camper-van pitches

Communal facilities are in “The Nissen Shed”. These include:

Check-in
Cabins: Check-in is from 4pm (earlier check-in may be available if your cabin is ready)
Camping: Check-in is from 2pm
Late check-in (after 5pm) can be arranged, but only by prior arrangement. Latest check-in is 10pm (to allow for a quiet site)

Check-out is at 10am
Check-out for camping is 11am
