How many Wigwam Cabins does your site have?
Wigwam Holidays Maglia Rosso has 5 Running Water Deluxe cabins which can sleep up to 4 people. We also have a Wigwam Lodge Accessible cabin which can sleep up to 5 people, suitable for disabilities the Lodge has a wet room, wider doorways and lower kitchen cabinets which are also on wheels.
When is your site open?
We are open all year round, 365 days a year.
Do you allow dogs/pets?
Yes up to 2 dogs are allowed in some of our cabins and there is nightly extra charge. Please book the 'dog friendly' cabins or, the Lodge which is also dog friendly. We have fantastic footpaths around the area for dog walking.
Is the site suitable for children?
Wigwam Holidays Maglia Rosso is great for kids. We have a children's play park and lots of open space for playing. We have a large open space in front of the cabins which is ideal for family games and a bike shop on site for bike hire
Do you accept groups, parties, or celebrations?
Please drop us an e-mail at magliarosso@wigwamholidays.com with the number of people in the group, the reason for the stay and any extra requirements so we can discuss in more detail.
Do you allow campfires?
We have firepits for hire which can be added as an extra when booking or after arrival during your stay. No open campfires are allowed
What is included in one of your standard Wigwam Cabins?
In each of our insulated Running Water Deluxe en-suite Wigwam Cabins and Accessibility Lodge you will find :

- Settee (making another double bed)

Is electricity included in the tariff?
Yes, electricity, hot water & heating is included.
What cooking facilities are provided?
In your Wigwam Cabin you will find a microwave, a hob, and a toaster. BBQs are available as an extra at the time of booking or after arrival.
What do I need to bring?
We recommend the following as essential items to bring:
Bedding can be hired at an additional rate of £15 per bedding set. Please email magliarosso@wigwamholiday.com to do this.

Can I order any extras?
Yes, you can order extras when making a booking from BBQs to breakfast packs. We also have a bike shop and cafe on site which has a small shop for things you may have forgotten and need.
Is there parking next to the Wigwam Cabins?
There is a parking space next to each cabin, an overflow car park for extra vehicles as you enter the site if required.
From what time can I check-in from?
We ask everyone to arrive from 16:00, if you would like to check in earlier please e-mail magliarosso@wigwamholidays.com to see we can accommodate
What is the latest time I can check-in?
We operate a contactless check in and check out, you will be contacted with regards to details on your cabin and keys before your arrival. The cabins will be accessible all evening and ready for your arrival.
What time do I need to vacate the Wigwam Cabin?
We ask all guests to please vacate the Wigwam Cabin by 11:00am (at the latest) on the day of departure, if you require a later check out, please e-mail magliarosso@wigwamholidays.com to see we can accommodate.
Do you have a shop/reception onsite and when is it open?
We have a cafe and cycle shop on site that is open daily from 9am to 5pm, depending on the time of year.
How many toilets and showers do you have onsite?
Each cabin has its own shower en suite facility.
Do you have a family shower for babies?
There is a family shower / wet room in our accessible Lodge cabin.
How close is the nearest pub or restaurant?
There are pubs that serve food in most of the surrounding villages, the nearest being about one mile away, local pubs are restaurants that are listed in the welcome packs in each cabin.
How far is it to the nearest supermarket?

How far is it from public transport?
There is no public transport nearby. A bus service operates on Wednesdays only to Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury. We have facilities for cycling with local routes to the local towns and villages
Is there a phone signal on-site?
Yes, although sometimes not great due to being in the middle of the countryside, however, we do have WiFi available for guests in the cabins and the cafe and you can get a mobile signal at the top of our driveway.
Is there WiFi access on site?
Yes, we have free limited WiFi. Please note this is only for browsing the internet/emails etc, not for streaming/downloading, it is a basic service in the cabins and the cafe.
What are Wigwam Extras?
Wigwam extras are optional and are not included in the standard tariff. Wigwam Extras give you chance to choose your special treat and tailor it to your individual requirements, and include anything from bedding to BBQs.
Are your Wigwam Cabins warm?
The short answer is 'yes'! Each Wigwam is fully heated, with an electric heater included. The Wigwam Cabins are particularly well insulated and retain the heat. That is why our Wigwam Cabins can be booked 365 days a year!
What is there to do in the area?
From walking, cycling and visiting the local towns and villages our site is known for the peace and quiet with lots of surrounding countryside. Close to Newmarket for the horse racing, Lavenham for Harry Potters's house, Thetford for Go Ape and off-road cycling and Long Melford for the Antique shops there is something for everyone.
Are there DVD players in the cabins?
We do have DVD players available but separate to the TVs, please e-mail magliarosso@wigwamholidays.com to request when booking or, after arrival on site.
