Before confirming your booking at Wigwam Holidays Orchard Stables please take the time to read the information below. It includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and the amenities and services available which will assist you with planning your holiday.
Payment Policy:
A deposit option is available up to 28 days before arrival. All deposits are non-refundable. The full balance must be paid 14 days before arrival, failure to do so may result in you loosing your booking. We do not accept provisional bookings so please do not make a booking unless you are in the position to honour it.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
If cancelled, you will lose your 25% deposit if the balance remains outstanding.
If the booking is fully paid;
Up to 4 weeks before arrival you can receive a 75% refund.
Up to 3 weeks before arrival you can receive a 50% refund.
Up to 2 weeks before arrival you can receive a 25% refund.
Less than 2 weeks before arrival, no refund is available.
The above terms and conditions only apply to bookings that are made online at www.wigwamholidays.com. Bookings made directly with the site owner may be subject to individual and separately agreed terms.
Breakage/Damage:
We reserve the right to deduct from the Credit/Debit Card Pre-Authorisation a reasonable fee should the Wigwam Cabin be left in an unsatisfactory condition or there is any damage to the Wigwam Cabin or the furnishing therein. It is requested that guests advise us in the event of breakage or damage.
Travel Insurance:
We strongly advise you to take out the appropriate levels of travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your holiday for any reason.
Toilets:
Please do not flush wipes, sanitary waste, nappies or cloths down the toilets as the site is not on mains drainage. These items must be wrapped up and put in the bin provided.
Smoking:
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the cabins or in any communal areas. Guests are permitted to smoke or vape on their own patio area as long as it does not interfere with the enjoyment of the other guests on the site and that cigarette butts and ash are disposed of responsibly.
Horses:
The horses on site belong to outside owners, please do not under any circumstances feed or stroke the horses. Although feeding even grass may seem harmless, it can in fact make some extremely poorly requiring veterinary assistance. Please also note that there is electrified fencing round every horse paddock.
Dogs:
Two well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs by bagging and placing in the bins provided. No dangerous dogs allowed Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Group Bookings – including Parties and Events.
We do not allow stag/hen parties or adult groups due to our noise policy. We do welcome bookings from social clubs, sports clubs, church groups and family gatherings. Contact must be made with us directly before any group bookings are made.
Visitors:
Friends and relatives of guests, wishing to visit are only allowed by prior arrangement and are not allowed in the hot tubs.
Arrival/Departure Procedures:
You can check in between 4pm and 6pm. If you need to arrive outside these times, please contact us in advance to arrange. Please check out by 10am, although all cabins are cleaned thoroughly please leave all areas clean and tidy and free of food and litter.
Loss, Damage or Injury:
Orchard Stables takes no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury to you or any of your party or property. We recommend that you have adequate travel and property insurance. We reserve the right to ask guests who are not observing the conditions to leave without refunds and with immediate effect.
Complaints Procedure:
We take all comments from guests seriously and in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint you can contact us by telephone or email and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Code of Conduct:
We expect all our Visitors to respect and look after the Site and the Wigwam you are staying in. We also require you to respect your fellow Visitors and keep noise levels to a minimum after 10.00pm. We have a low noise policy on site – Orchard Stables is close to residential properties and has an agreement made with the local planning council to keep noise to a minimum. We have a strict no music policy outside the cabins and if music is played inside the cabins then consideration should be made to other campers. A quiet time after 10pm is to assist in a relaxing and peaceful holiday for all. Parents are responsible for their children, as such children must be supervised at all times. The site is on a working livery yard of 20 horses, the horse paddocks have electrified fencing around them.
