We have giant chess and connect 4 for the competitive ones among you, and fly fishing for the more experienced angler.

Enjoy an adventure-filled woodland walk in Gelt Woods. Being an RSVP Nature reserve, it holds some lovely surprises, to name a few: Bird spotting, Mini beast hunts, beautiful caves and hidden Roman etchings. There are lots of picnic places and Gelt woods provides the perfect location for four-legged adventures.
Birdoswald Roman Fort / Hadrian’s Wall
A fascinating window into England’s Roman history Birdoswald Roman Fort gives you a real insight into Hadrian’s Wall, with a periscope offering a view of the wall as far as you can see.
