With the site set across 20 acres of stunning, peaceful woodland, there is so much to see and do during your stay. There’s something for all the family, from walking and cycling, Go Ape Outdoor Activity Centre, archery, laser tag and so much more you’ll need to come back more than once to fit it all in. Here’s a little taster to wet your appetite:

Walks:

There are some great walking trails to explore while staying at Wigwam Holidays Sherwood Pines. The Giants Trail 0.75 miles, The Dragonfly Trail 1mile, The Major Oak Trail 1.5miles , The Nightjar Trail 3miles and The Robin Hood 6miles.

Cycling:

Bike hire is available ask on site for more information There is a family cycle trail 3miles, Adventure Trail 6miles, Kitcheners Trail 8miles, and don’t forget the Bike Park.

Major Oak:

Visit the most famous tree in Sherwood Forest, estimated to be between 800 – 1100 years old!

Gruffalo Sculptures at Sherwood Pines:

A fun way to get the kids off their screens! Head into the deep dark wood and see if you can spot all the characters from the famous Julia Donaldson book.

Go Ape Sherwood Pines:

The ultimate treetop experience. There are 6 outdoor activities to enjoy at Go Ape Sherwood Pines. Perfect for all ages and you can even hire a forest Segway to explore the area in a different way

Sundown Adventureland:

A fantastic theme park for under 10s approximately 35 minutes from site. A great place to spend the day with the family enjoying rides, shows, shops, a cafe and more! You can easily spend the day here!

Adrenalin Jungle:

If you’re looking for a faster-paced day on your holiday, this is the place for you. Offering activities such as paintball, laser tag, knife throwing, bootcamp and bubble football (to name a few). This is sure to please the whole crowd.
